Install it, open it, and activate with the licence key from your purchase.
All three contain the identical application. Pick the format that suits how you deploy.
Standard Windows installer. Best for most people, and the format IT teams deploy by Group Policy or Intune.
Download .msiSelf-contained setup executable. Use this if your machine blocks MSI packages or you prefer a classic wizard.
Download .exeContains both the .msi and the .exe in one download. Handy for offline rollout across several machines.
Download .zipEvery download is published with a security checksum so you or your IT team can confirm the file is genuine before installing.
Existing licence holders update free — the app checks quietly for updates when it starts, and tells you what has changed before anything is installed.
Publish any project as a read-only web page and send the link to someone who has never installed the software. The snapshot is encrypted on your machine before it is uploaded, and the decryption key travels only in the fragment of the URL, which browsers never send to a server — so the host stores ciphertext it cannot read. Add a password, set an expiry, and revoke the link the moment the job is done.
Capturing a baseline now snapshots every column, not just the dates. The variance table spells out what moved — Status: Not started → Blocked, a reassigned owner, a re-pointed due date — with filters for slipped items, status moves and field edits.
Build more than one chart per project and choose what each measures. Group by status, owner, priority or any select column; count items, or sum and average a number column; or bucket by date. Bar, column, line, area, pie and donut — each chart keeps its own settings with the project.
Mark any task as a key milestone from the item panel, or with a right-click on its Gantt bar, and it appears as a diamond on the timeline. The new Key Milestones view then lists every marked milestone in one place with its date, owner and whether it has slipped — and the same set of milestones is what the PDF report and the MS Project export use, so the plan, the report and the board can never disagree.
Press Add Programme at the top of the Portfolio, give it a name, and it becomes its own folder tab alongside your projects. Choose which projects belong to it, add or remove them whenever you like, and the portfolio reports only those projects — every KPI, chart and health tile follows the folder. Programmes can be archived or deleted without ever touching the projects inside them.
A new Backup / Restore tab in Settings backs up every project, note and programme to a single archive, automatically on a 1, 3, 7 or 14 day cycle or on demand with Back up now. Restoring is just as simple: pick the backup file and the app shows you exactly what is inside it — projects, notes, programmes and the date it was taken — before anything is written. Restored projects come back clearly labelled (Restored), and nothing you already have is overwritten or deleted.
Deleted a project by mistake? The new Project Recycling Bin in Settings lists deleted projects with their row counts and restores them whole. When you create a project you can now pick its icon from a gallery instead of taking whatever the template gave you. And the portfolio no longer reports a project as On track when no completion tracking has been set up — it now says Not tracked, so a blank project can never be mistaken for a healthy one.
Reminders now fire exactly when they are due — and if the app was closed at the time, the reminder is shown the next time you open it rather than being missed. An open note now closes back to its card as soon as you click away, and the Notes screen keeps active and deleted notes apart with search on both.
Everything is stored in a single local SQLite database in your user profile. Nothing is uploaded. To move to a new machine, use Settings → Backup and restore the file on the other side.
