Data residency by design

Freelance stores data on the PC. Enterprise stores it on your server. We host nothing.

Security questions

What does ModoPM send to modo-pm.com?

Only what is needed to licence and update the app: your licence key, a salted, irreversible Machine ID hash and the app version. No project names, items, files, people or messages.

Can ModoPM staff access our server?

No. There is no remote access built in and no vendor back door. Your administrators control the server completely.

Do you use our data for analytics or AI?

No. We never receive your project data, so we cannot use it for anything.
