Freelance questions

Is my data really only on my PC?
Yes. ModoPM Freelance stores your projects in a local database on your own computer. There is no ModoPM account and nothing is uploaded. The app contacts modo-pm.com only to activate the licence and check for updates.
Can I move my licence to a new PC?
Yes. Deactivate it in Settings › Licence on the old PC, then activate on the new one with the same key. If the old PC is lost, email us and we will free it.
Can I upgrade to Enterprise later?
Yes. Export your projects as .modopm files and import them into ModoPM Enterprise. Contact sales to talk about moving across.
Can clients see my plan?
Yes, if you want them to. Create a read-only share link and pick which columns they can see. Switch it off any time.
